The minor in sociology and human services allows students to study the role that the broader social context has on human experiences. Following an introductory course, students choose from a variety of topical courses with a sociological or human services theme.
The sociology and human services minor consists of 20 credits.
Sociology and Human Services Minor Requirements
SHS 101 plus sixteen credits from the lists of required and elective courses for the sociology track, required courses for the human services track, or from the diversity, equity, and inclusion electives list for the human services track. Eight credits must be at the 300 or 400 level.
