Class Program
Credits 4
Liberal Education Core
Arts

Students in Production and Performance will take a theatrical performance from concept to realized show, completing all aspects of the production including script analysis, designing, building, lighting, costuming, and/or stage managing and acting or performing. While the class will function as one collaborative team, students will have the option to take on a role as a performer or may choose to contribute backstage as part of the technical crew. Through this experience the student will learn the standard professional practices and protocols of theater and may gain insight that will inform their future decisions to study and concentrate on specific aspects of theatrical production more deeply.  This course may be repeated at different levels and is required for the Performing Arts Minor.
